House cleanouts in Warren: what we see and how we work

Warren was built fast between the late 1940s and the 1970s, and its housing shows it: block after block of brick ranches and bungalows with full basements, detached garages and the occasional workshop out back, plus larger colonials and quad-levels toward 14 Mile and the GM Tech Center. A great many of these homes have been in the same family for forty to sixty years, which means the basement has forty to sixty years in it. Christmas decorations, canning jars, paint cans, furniture from three generations, and the boxes that were going to be sorted someday. That is the most common Warren cleanout we see.

We serve every Warren ZIP code, 48088, 48089, 48091, 48092 and 48093, from 8 Mile to the Sterling Heights line and from Dequindre to Hayes, including the Van Dyke and Mound Road corridors, Warren Woods, the Tech Center area and the neighborhoods off Hoover and Schoenherr. Rental turnovers near Van Dyke and the GM plants, garage-only jobs, and whole houses getting ready for a listing are all routine. Because we are based in Warren, we can usually confirm your price in person within a day or two of your photos.

We are an estate sale company first, and that matters in Warren. Mid-century furniture, tools, military items and collections from the families who built this city often have real value. We look at your photos with that in mind, and if a sale would pay you more than a cleanout costs, we will tell you. Otherwise you get one flat price with the dumpster, hauling, labor and disposal all in it, and we leave the house broom-swept.

What we take

  • Furniture, mattresses, appliances and TVs
  • Boxes, clothing, books, dishes and decades of basement storage
  • Garage, shed and pole-barn contents, tools and scrap
  • Carpet, small demolition debris and yard junk
  • Whatever is left after an estate sale or a tenant leaves

What we cannot put in the dumpster

  • Hazardous waste, chemicals and liquid paint. We point you to the county household hazardous waste program
  • Propane tanks, fuel and car batteries
  • Asbestos and medical waste
  • Anything you want to keep: set it aside before we start

Not sure about something? Photograph it and ask. If the house turns out to be full of good stuff rather than junk, we will say so, because an estate sale can pay you instead of costing you.

How pricing works

One flat price, quoted from your photos

No hourly meter, no per-yard math and no surprise line items. Send wide shots of each room or space plus anything big or heavy, and Will or Casey call you back with a single price that covers the dumpster, the hauling, the labor and the disposal. We confirm it in person before any work starts, and once you sign, that is the price. It only changes if you add to the job, and we price the addition before we do it.

Questions from Warren families

Good to know

Do you clean out houses in all of Warren?

Yes, every ZIP code: 48088, 48089, 48091, 48092 and 48093, plus Center Line next door. Warren is our home base.

Can you clear the basement and garage but leave the rest of the house?

Yes. Photograph just the spaces you want emptied and we price only those. Many Warren jobs are a basement and a detached garage with the family staying in the house.

How soon can you start in Warren?

Most Warren jobs are confirmed in person within a day or two of your photos and finished within the week. A typical house takes one to two days once the dumpster is in the driveway.

What if the house has things worth money?

Set aside anything you want to keep first. Then tell us what you think might have value, or let us spot it in the photos. If there is enough, we quote an estate sale instead, which pays you.
